What I did last summer

Last summer I spent a LOT of time hunting for frogs with my kids, but wouldn’t you know it, the only frog I caught was while I was at this shoot on Sauvie Island. This session produced a surprise photo album for the papa not present. No frogs, only 2.5 adorable children and their gorgeous mom, Leah.

I Like to call Luka, “Fat Damon.” She looks just like her Papa, but unlike him, she has rolls of glorious fat for miles and miles! I want to eat her. This is a millisecond from a shoot of their family in October.

My kids are getting so big. We took a little afternoon vacay with friends in early august to our fave spot on Sauvie. Forget the water, my boys were all about this old log and the jumping possibilities.

This is Diane and Diane has cancer. But Diane is fighting it like crazy. What a wonderful woman, and how lucky she is to have her daughter and family to stand by her during the battle. We are all cheering for you Diane!

busy busy summer

We Blackhearts just spent the summer doing a total yard make-over. It was well worth it, but I didn’t get much work done with the camera or on the computer. Fall is a new start! I’ll be posting images that have been waiting patiently on ye olde hard drive, and have some new clients lined up for the next few months… stay tuned.
